All Ukrainian cities faced unprecedented challenges during the Russian aggression in 2022.
year. Many cities have suffered significant destruction. The critical infrastructure of cities and regions has become targeted by the Russian Federation. Large-scale, catastrophic migration processes migration processes impose additional difficulties for the work and recovery of cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this policy brief, we have attempted to analyze the problem of post-war urban recovery and urban development, and highlight the main challenges for the planning process of post-war recovery in Ukraine.
We also propose new approaches for rebuilding the cities of the future in Ukraine: green recovery
and green transformation of cities in the postwar period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
