In the Baltic States, the period from the beginning of World War II to independence at the end of the twenty-first century is unofficially referred to as the \u201cperiod of three occupations.\u201d First, the Baltic states fell under the influence of the USSR, then were occupied by Nazi Germany, and then again became part of the Soviet Union. The real economic recovery of the countries took place only after the Singing Revolution and the formation of independent republics. The article examines the experience of each country, their successes and obstacles in overcoming global challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
