Transparency: a Basic Principle for the Success of Ukraine’s Reconstruction

In this article, we have reviewed the key national instruments and analysed international transparency indices for Ukraine’s presence in them and the evaluation criteria used to create them.

The second section of the report is devoted to the issue of ensuring transparency at each stage of the life cycle of the country’s reconstruction. For this purpose, interviews with experts and representatives of civil society were conducted and summarised to discuss their views on the principle of transparency in the context of reconstruction.

As a result, we developed recommendations aimed at ensuring transparent and accountable post-war reconstruction.
