Despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, the government is preparing for the recovery and reconstruction of the country. Given the scale of the attacks on healthcare infrastructure and the resulting disruption to the healthcare system, reconstruction is an integral part of the country’s recovery.

Immediate priorities include restoring essential services, responding to emerging physical and mental health needs, protecting public health, and providing a safe and welcoming environment for the return of both healthcare workers and the general population.
