Research on the Practices of Rebuilding Countries after Destruction: Indonesia

In 2004, Indonesia was hit by a natural disaster (tsunami) that killed more than 160,000 people and destroyed virtually all the infrastructure in Aceh province and the island of Nias. The institution ensured transparency, accountability, and speed of reconstruction without managing reconstruction projects. You can find out how the reconstruction took place, what were the advantages and mistakes, and what Ukraine can learn from the Indonesian case in this article.
