The European Parliament adopted a resolution calling on EU member states to increase sanctions pressure on the aggressor and finally complete the process of adopting legislation that would allow for the confiscation of frozen Russian assets. MEPs also emphasized that Russia’s war of aggression has radically changed the geopolitical situation changed the geopolitical situation, “which requires the EU to take bold and comprehensive political, security and financial decisions”.
