Livelihoods and Access to Work of Refugees from Ukraine in Neighbouring Countries

The way in which refugees from Ukraine have experienced these changes is largely due to the gendered nature of the crisis and, consequently, the gendered component of the barriers they face – in particular, the ability of refugees from Ukraine to access and secure financial stability. After a thorough analysis of these barriers, the researchers in this note offer a number of recommendations for the governments of neighboring host countries, private sector actors, NGOs, civil society and international organizations to help overcome these barriers.
