Research on the Practices of Rebuilding Countries After Destruction: Croatia

Croatia was a part of Yugoslavia and fought for its independence militarily during the 5-year war. The report describes the consequences that Croatia had after the war and the ways in which the country tried to overcome them. The experience of Croatia may be of interest to Ukraine, as this Balkan country is a member of NATO and the EU, which is a relevant goal for our country. The strengths and weaknesses of Croatia’s recovery from the war for independence should be taken into account when planning Ukraine’s reconstruction process.
